Graduated from Villanova with a degree in Finance in 2004. He played in every game (58) for the Wildcats during his four year career (2001-2004) in which he scored 62 goals and added 9 assists (totaling 71 points). Matt’s 236 ground balls rank 8th in program history. He also won 236 faceoffs, with a winning percentage of .569. Matt was drafted by the Philadelphia Barrage in Round 6 (34th overall) in the 2005 MLL Supplemental Draft. He played parts of two seasons with the Barrage, scoring a goal and winning 17/37 faceoffs (.459) in 2005. In 2006, a season when the Barrage won their second of three MLL Championships, Matt appeared in one game. Lucas currently serves as the Manager of Financial Forecasting for Barclays.
