Prior to the general release of the set at the August 6th playoff game vs. Oakville, individual Official Peterborough Century 21 Lakers Player Cards were available at Mr. Sub on Lansdowne Street in Peterborough. That promotion began in mid-July 2026. With the purchase of a sub, the buyer was entitled to the featured player of the week. There was a limit of one card per customer, per day. A new Lakers player card arrived every Thursday.
