Born Wesley Berg in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, on April 19,1993.

Played Junior A lacrosse for the Coquitlam Adanacs, before being recruited to the University of Denver, where he starred for four years (2012-2015) under legendary coach Bill Tierney. He helped the Pioneers to their first (and only to date) NCAA DI Men’s National Lacrosse Championship in May 2015. Berg graduated from Denver as the school’s all-time leader in points (255) and goals (188). He was drafted by both the Calgary Roughnecks (NLL) and Denver Outlaws (MLL). Berg won two MLL Championships (2016, 2018) in his four years with the Outlaws. Wes continues to play both indoor (with the San Diego Seals of the NLL since 2020) and outdoors (back with the Redwoods in the PLL after time with both the Waterdogs and Chaos).
