Prior to the general release of the set at the August 6th playoff game vs. Oakville, individual Official Peterborough Century 21 Lakers Player Cards were available at Mr. Sub on Lansdowne Street in Peterborough. That promotion began in mid-July 2026. With the purchase of a sub, the buyer was entitled to the featured player of the week. There was a limit of one card per customer, per day. A new Lakers player card arrived every Thursday. The full set of 34 players (plus one of the six “Legends”) went on sale for $14.00 (US) at Petes Souvenir Store the day of the second playoff game against the Oakville Rock. The six Legends are Curtis “Supeman” Dickson, Tracey Kelusky, Matt Giles, Scott Evans, Matt Vinc, & Cory Vitarelli. I believe you were able to pick which Legend card would accompany your team set. Only one team set per person was available. It has been speculated that this was a limited print run.
