In 2009, the Calgary Roughnecks, in conjunction with RAD Printing of Calgary, issued their first of three excellent lacrosse card sets.  Bow Valley Photographic Services, Ltd., provided the images for the cards.  The fronts feature a color action shot of each player, while the backs include a black & white head and shoulders portrait, minus the helmet.  There are also detailed biographical information and statistics from recent seasons.  The plan was for every player (even the practice squad) to have his own card.  In addition to the players, there is a card for the head coach and both assistant coaches, as well as one for the team mascot.  RAD Printing and Bow Valley Photography also share a card.  Player Joel Henry, however, was released prior to the set being completed and does not have a 2009 card.  Each player was given ten cards to keep.  At every home game, 3 or 4 players were randomly chosen and given 50 cards of themselves to sign and hand out during the Fan Meet and Greet after the game.  At the end of the season, fans were given the opportunity to purchase the complete box set from the team.  The box itself is a collector’s item.
