Born Christian Renato Cuccinello on May 26, 1996 in Livingston, New Jersey.

A three-sport (football, basketball, lacrosse) athlete at Mountain Lakes H.S. in New Jersey, Christian was named the NJILCA Player of the Year in 2014. He also was named Mountain Lakes’ Most Outstanding Senior Student-Athlete that same year. A four-year (2015-2018) offensive force for Villanova, Christian graduated in 2018 as the Wildcats fifth all-time points leader with 168 (97 goals – 71 assists). He was named to the Big East First Team in both 2017 & 2018. A 2018 Tewaaraton Award nominee, Christian was also a USILA Scholar All-American and USILA Honorable Mention All-American as a senior. Drafted by the Atlanta Blaze in 2018, Christian scored 17 goals and 11 assists in only 9 games. Spencer Ford, who picked him for the Blaze in the MLL Collegiate draft, claimed Cuccinello was “tough as nails and fun to be with.” Christian went on to play in the PLL in 2019 for the Archers, netting 8 goals & 4 assists during the season and 4 goals & an assist in the playoffs. In the 2020 expansion draft, Christian was chosen by the Waterdogs as their second pick. He also played briefly for the PLL Cannons in both 2021 & 2022. Cuccinello had been chosen in the NLL entry draft in 2018 by the Philadelphia Wings, playing on their practice squad. Christian was an integral part of Team Italy in the 2018 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship held in Netanya, Italy. In six games, he scored 16 goals while assisting on 7 others. Becoming increasingly involved with elevating the sport of lacrosse in Italy, Christian made periodic trips to that country, conducting clinics and working with the National Team. He played a significant role in Italy’s success in the 2022 Euro Qualifiers with 8 goals & 9 assists. Christian was an inspiring leader on Team Italy that took 9th place in the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in San Diego. He was the tournament’s second highest point-scorer with 35 (20 goals, good for 5th, and 15 assists, tied for 2nd). Christian manages to balance his profession as a strategy and consulting manager with his avocation of lacrosse, playing, teaching and giving back.
